At-Tahrim 66:6

O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones, over which are [appointed] angels, harsh and severe; they do not disobey Allāh in what He commands them but do what they are commanded.

Emotions are often associated with specific bodily sensations and can manifest in various ways throughout the body, including the heart, lungs, stomach, and limbs. For instance, joy may be felt in the heart, while anger can manifest as tightness in the chest or a clenched jaw. Sadness might cause a feeling of heaviness in the limbs, and fear can lead to a racing heart and trembling hands.

Here's a more detailed look at some common emotional associations with body parts:

Emotions and their associated body parts:

Anger: May be felt in the chest, head, or stomach. Can manifest as tightened shoulders, clenched fists, or a flushed face.

Fear: Often felt in the chest, with a sense of tightness or pressure. Can also manifest as a racing heart, trembling hands, or shortness of breath.

Sadness: Can cause a feeling of heaviness in the chest, limbs, or a slumped posture.

Anxiety: May be felt as tightness in the chest, a rapid heartbeat, or restlessness.

Happiness: Can be associated with warmth, a feeling of lightness, and increased energy throughout the body.

Surprise: May be felt in the chest and head.

Disgust: Can be associated with sensations in the digestive system and throat.

Shame: May be felt in the face, chest, or other areas.

Grief: Can lead to physical sensations like tightness in the chest, difficulty breathing, or fatigue.

Beyond the body:

          TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine):
Emotions are also linked to specific organs in TCM, such as the liver (associated with anger), heart (joy), lungs (grief), and kidneys (fear).

          Mind-Body Connection:
The connection between emotions and the body is a complex one, and understanding this connection can help individuals better manage their emotional and physical well-being.

          Individual Variations:
It's important to note that the way emotions are experienced and manifested in the body can vary from person to person.

By paying attention to how emotions manifest in the body, individuals can gain a deeper understanding of their own emotional landscape and potentially develop more effective coping mechanisms.

Description: Where Emotions Get Trapped in the Body and How to Release Them

The body's lower parts, particularly the pelvis, hips, and legs, are often linked to emotional experiences and can hold onto unresolved emotions or trauma. Specifically, the psoas muscle, which connects the torso to the lower body, can store stress and impact hip and low back pain. The pelvic floor, associated with sexuality and reproduction, can also be a site for holding onto suppressed emotions.

Elaboration:

          Pelvis and Hips:
The pelvis and hips, being the foundation of the body, are often associated with grounding and stability. Trauma or unresolved emotions can manifest as tightness or pain in these areas.

          Psoas Muscle:
This muscle, connecting the torso to the legs, is considered a vital link between the upper and lower body, and can store emotional tension.

          Pelvic Floor:
The pelvic floor, including the muscles and organs of the reproductive system, can become a site for storing emotions related to sexuality, trauma, and emotional repression.

          Feet and Legs:
While often associated with grounding and movement, the feet and legs can also be a place where emotions manifest. For example, "cold feet" can indicate anxiety or reluctance, and leg pain may be a manifestation of anxiety.

          Kidneys:
In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the kidneys are associated with fear and emotions like guilt or shame. Lower back pain or kidney imbalances can be linked to emotional distress.

          Trauma and the Body:
The body can hold onto trauma in various ways, including muscle tension, pain, and even changes in posture. Physical therapy, yoga, and Pilates can be helpful in releasing these tensions.

In essence, the body's lower parts are not just physical structures; they are intimately connected to our emotional landscape. Understanding this connection can be a powerful tool for addressing emotional distress and promoting well-being.

Difference between Meaning and Definition

Key difference: The term definition states the critical and analytical aspects of any word, whereas meaning is what can be inferred from the word. A word may have one definition, whereas it may have a hundred meanings, different to each person.

Description: DefinitionThe terms, meaning and definition, often pop up when discussing words. While many believe them to be synonymous, and they are for the most part, they actually also differ from each other.

Let us look at the definition of “definition”. Dictionary.com defines “definition”, as:

The act of making definite, distinct, or clear; a defining: We need a better definition of her responsibilities.

The formal statement of the meaning or significance of a word, phrase, idiom, etc., as found in dictionaries. An online dictionary resource, such as Dictionary.com, can give users direct, immediate access to the definitions of a term, allowing them to compare definitions from various dictionaries and stay up to date with an ever-expanding vocabulary.

Whereas, “meaning” is defined as:

What is intended to be, or actually is, expressed or indicated; signification; import: the three meanings of a word.

The end, purpose, or significance of something: What is the meaning of life? What is the meaning of this intrusion?

The nonlinguistic cultural correlate, reference, or denotation of a linguistic form; expression.

       Linguistic content (opposed to expression).

Description: MeaningNow that the definition of the terms is pretty straightforward, let’s look at the meanings. The term definition states the critical and analytical aspects of any word, whereas meaning is what can be inferred from the word. A word may have one definition, whereas it may have a hundred meanings, different to each person.

Let’s look at an example:

The definition of the term ‘o.k.’ states that it is used to express things that are “all right; proceeding normally; satisfactory; under control; or correct.” Whereas the meaning of ‘o.k.’ in a sentence can refer to many things, as depending on what the person meant to say and what the other person understood. The speaker may be irritated or angry or just plain bored, hence he may be using ‘o.k.’ to end an argument, to imply agreement, or may in fact mean nothing by it at all.

Furthermore, the meaning of a word in slang or general usage can differ explicitly from its definition. The definition of a term can be outdated or not in context to the current usage. For example, the terms “nerd”, “geek”, etc. The definition of these terms are derogatory, however today the terms are often used between friends without any negative connotations. In fact, one even proudly refers to oneself as a “nerd”, or a “geek”. Hence, the meanings of the terms have changed. This will eventually require the definition of the terms to be changed in order to comply with the modern meaning. However, in the future, the meanings may change again, and the cycle will continue.

Comparison between Meaning and Definition:

QURAN IS CRITERIA OF WHOLE KNOWLEDGE & INFORMATION

Quran's Standard for verification is human's emotions and his intellectual in respect of creation which called attributes of creator.

Al-'Alaq 96:1

ٱقْرَأْ بِٱسْمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ

(ऐ रसूल) अपने परवरदिगार का नाम लेकर पढ़ो जिसने हर (चीज़ को) पैदा किया

Recite in the name of your Lord who created.

Ar-Rum 30:30

So direct your face toward the religion, inclining to truth. [Adhere to] the fitrah of Allah upon which He has created [all] people. No change should there be in the creation of Allah . That is the correct religion, but most of the people do not know.

Aal-e-Imran 3:3

He has sent down upon you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth, confirming what was before it. And He revealed the Torah and the Gospel.

Aal-e-Imran 3:4

Before, as guidance for the people. And He revealed the Qur'an. Indeed, those who disbelieve in the verses of Allah will have a severe punishment, and Allah is exalted in Might, the Owner of Retribution.

English - Sahih International

Those who disbelieve in the signs of Allah and kill the prophets without right and kill those who order justice from among the people – give them tidings of a painful punishment.

Hindi - Suhel Farooq Khan/Saifur Rahman Nadwi

बेशक जो लोग ख़ुदा की आयतों से इन्कार करते हैं और नाहक़ पैग़म्बरों को क़त्ल करते हैं और उन लोगों को (भी) क़त्ल करते हैं जो (उन्हें) इन्साफ़ करने का हुक्म करते हैं तो (ऐ रसूल) तुम उन लोगों को दर्दनाक अज़ाब की ख़ुशख़बरी दे दो

And do not say about those who are killed in the way of Allah, "They are dead." Rather, they are alive, but you perceive [it] not.

Al-Baqarah 2:178

English - Sahih International

O you who have believed, prescribed for you is legal retribution for those murdered – the free for the free, the slave for the slave, and the female for the female. But whoever overlooks from his brother [i.e., the killer] anything, then there should be a suitable follow-up and payment to him [i.e., the deceased's heir or legal representative] with good conduct. This is an alleviation from your Lord and a mercy. But whoever transgresses after that will have a painful punishment.

Hindi - Suhel Farooq Khan/Saifur Rahman Nadwi

English - Sahih International

Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties [in exchange] for that they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah, so they kill and are killed. [It is] a true promise [binding] upon Him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Quran. And who is truer to his covenant than Allah? So rejoice in your transaction which you have contracted. And it is that which is the great attainment.

Hindi - Suhel Farooq Khan/Saifur Rahman Nadwi

English - Sahih International

Righteousness is not that you turn your faces toward the east or the west, but [true] righteousness is [in] one who believes in Allah, the Last Day, the angels, the Book, and the prophets and gives wealth, in spite of love for it, to relatives, orphans, the needy, the traveler, those who ask [for help], and for freeing slaves; [and who] establishes prayer and gives Zakah; [those who] fulfill their promise when they promise; and [those who] are patient in poverty and hardship and during battle. Those are the ones who have been true, and it is those who are the righteous.

Hindi - Suhel Farooq Khan/Saifur Rahman Nadwi

English - Sahih International

Fight them until there is no [more] fitnah and [until] religion [i.e., worship] is [acknowledged to be] for Allah. But if they cease, then there is to be no aggression [i.e., assault] except against the oppressors.

Hindi - Suhel Farooq Khan/Saifur Rahman Nadwi

और उन से लड़े जाओ यहाँ तक कि फ़साद बाक़ी न रहे और सिर्फ ख़ुदा ही का दीन रह जाए फिर अगर वह लोग बाज़ रहे तो उन पर ज्यादती न करो क्योंकि ज़ालिमों के सिवा किसी पर ज्यादती (अच्छी) नहीं
